My hubby had one request when I searched for our accommodation in Chania: he wanted to be able to go & see the old harbour while we were there.
Well Irene's Loft outdid all his expectations, to be able to see the harbour through the beautiful windows, as well as being able to enjoy the view whilst sitting on the private terrace was mind blowing & to top all that off, the many ways you could walk to the harbour and other places, made each walk a real adventure.
  We enjoyed our stay at the Loft & especially loved the older features throughout the building, even the brand new ensuite has beautiful old stone integrated with the new features. The bed & pillows were super comfy & plush.
We stayed in February & even though there was snow on the mountains, the oil heater in the loft kept us toasty. The 30 odd stairs up to the loft are quite steep, so wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues, but once you've climbed those steps, the view is stunning.
We'd love to stay in summer next time.
