It's been a long day and you are tired. Tavernas and restaurants are just 5-10 minutes away. You can either get yourself together and walk to the harbour and the city or you can order food online. Fast food isn't necessarily unhealthy. Order "gyros/souvlaki" with or without pita bread, ask them not to put fries in it and not to bake the pita bread with oil. We all do it, many years now. This is our fast food.
Nowadays more options have emerged. You can order anything from coffee to "home food". E-food is a website that makes ordering food very easy. You can even pay online! However there are still some well recommended places that don't work with e-food yet. Look for the menu on their Facebook page or their web site and call them to place your order.
Below are some of my favourites.
Breakfast is served at your apartment on the day and time of your preference. Always pre-order breakfast at least a day before.

This is a 2000-2500kcal breakfast for two. Most calories come from orange juice ( 3cups 300kcal), yoghurt (160 kcal each), eggs (310kcal -4 eggs) and multi-grain bread with sesame and seeds.
There are a few things you must try before you leave and Cretan breakfast is definitely one of them.
